WOW, the detail in your sculpture is crazy cool. Fine work if you ask me. I love every detail even the ridges of the scarf floating in the air like that I'm assuming everything is hand painted it looks amazing. I've played journey ever since i downloaded for my PS3 can't stop playing its too beautiful. What I love about your sculpture is how you manage to cooperate the feeling of this game in such little effort with just two characters in the sand meeting each other for the first time, AMAZING! or rather helping each other out. I give your sculpture a 10/10 its that Awesome.
Thank you! I've actually fixed it up by painting the brown wooden base black and adding real sand, so it looks so much better now than in the picture, but I procrastinate too much and haven't posted new pictures yet ;-;
lol, i'm honored that you like it so much! i actually touched it up a bit since i took this photo, too, and i like it much better now sorry though, because of my newfound attachment to it and copyright issues, i'll be hanging on to it. but i'm considering making a tutorial thingy on how to sculpt the little guys so people can make their own
You have no idea how delighted I was to see this. <3 I found out about Journey and ohmygosh, the entire game was so breathtaking. ;u; I'd consider getting a PS3 just for this game, if I had the money!
The colours are spot-on and I really love how you detailed not just the cloaks, but also the scarves and the amount of flying power left in them. ouo And the ribbon, it looks like it's actually flowing and everything!
i agree, it really is worth it and quite the incentive to buy a ps3, lol
thank you!!! i felt like the scarves were too plain without flying power, so i thought it'd look cool to add some charge and im really glad that the ribbon doesnt look static, i was worried that it came out kindof...well, not looking like a ribbon
and same here, Journey is the kind of game that just stays with you. you love it to pieces, glue the pieces back together again, and love it some more
You're very welcome! ;u; I'm glad you went with what you did, it was a wonderful idea. ouo And I know what you mean, especially since ribbon is such a light and flowy material. No worries, though!
Sounds like something I'd love forever. :b I really need to figure out a way to get my hands on this game; watching playthroughs is beautiful already, but I'm missing out on actually experiencing it myself! And gosh, I know I'd love it lots. ;u;
again, thanks so much! always room for improvement though, i might re-sculpt the journeyer standing on top of the monster thing sometime in the future since im not totally happy with how it came out...
it definitely is amazing, i've been having my friends over who dont have ps3s play it on mine since its something you really need do first hand. i hope you find a way to play it, though
What a beautiful sculpture! I love how dynamic it looks and the painting is gorgeous! I have not played this game, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. It kind of makes me wish I had a PS3 so I could play it!
